More and more pressure on ISPs, the gateways to the Net. --Declan] SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA, 1996 JUN 21 (NB) -- The Australian Performing Rights Association (APRA) has delivered a demand to about 280 Australian Internet service providers (ISPs) seeking $1 a customer for music carried over the Net. [...] A spokesman for APRA, Richard Mallett, said the association, which is empowered to collect copyright fees on behalf of those groups, regarded service providers as responsible for the music that was carried over the Internet, in that they are seen to be making music available.
