1995 and signed into law apparently only weeks after introduction. Would
make it a crime to send email "with intent to harass, annoy, or alarm
another person." Get in an argument? You're could go to prison on
felony charges. Few laws ever passed anywhere in this country could
be so incredibly dirt-stupid.
