DECLARATION OF LAURENCE BOOTHBY 

I, Laurence Boothby, pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 1746, hereby
declare that:

1. I am Physical Security Specialist with the United States
Secret Service, assigned to the Chicago Field Office of the Secret
Service.

2. During the week of March 19, 1990, I conducted a review of
evidence seized relating to the computer used to run the
Illuminatinati BBS. 

3. In reviewing these items, I employed a specialized program
known as "Norton Utilities", to electronically sweep through the
bulletin board contents for key words relating to the stolen
E911 document or to password cracking activity. By using this
program I found only one item, a password cracking program

4. My review of the BBS materials did not reveal any electronic
mail messages or other files containing words relating to the
investigation. Consequently, I did not read any electronic
communications made by, addressed to or concerning any of the
plaintiffs.
