AFFIDAVIT OF DON ARBURN State of Texas County of Travis BEFORE ME, the undersigned authority, personally appeared Don Arburn, a person know to me, who being first duly sworn, deposed and stated as follows: "My name is Don Arburn. I am over twint-one (21) years of age, of sound mind, and have never been convicted of a felony. I have personal knowledge of the matters set forth in this affidavit. "I was emplyed as a production artist for Steve Jackson Games, Inc., 2700-A Metcalfe, Austin, Texas on March 1, 1990 "I arrived at Steve Jackson Games at approximately 7:30 or 8:00 a.m. on March 1, 1990, along with Carl Anderson, the other production artist for Steve Jackson Games. "I was approached by a male with no uniform and some uniformed Austin police officers. "I was asked for my name and asked whether I knew how to operate a computer. I provided my name and responded that although I knew how to operate a computer, I did not operate computers as part of my job, and stated 'We are production artists.' "I was then told that the building had been taken over or confiscated, or words to that effect, and told that I was not allowed on the premises. I was told 'don't go too far.' "Inside the offices, there are Steve Jackson Game books everywhere. There is no room in the building that would not contain books that show they are published by Steve Jackson Games. There are references materials for books, and reference materials for role-playing games. There were encyclopedias in the offices. "When you enter the building from the main door on the first floor, you are in the editorial room. This is the room where the Illuminati BBS computer was located, and the area where most of the writers and editors are located. There is a large chart labeled 'Steps in Editing a Manuscript' on the wall in this editorial room, in close proximity to the desk on which the Illuminati BBS computer is sitting. There are flags on this chart, showing the state a particular book is at. "In my office area, there were drafting trables, drafting supplies, and art supplies. "Further affiant saith not."
