That sounds like a good policy for everyone to follow here. > I was under the impression that much effort was made to contact her > before, and she avoided everyone. Someone from CAFE, the anti-censorship group at CMU, called her last Saturday, July 8. I've attached the email. -Declan --- I called Ms. Speranza, got an answering machine, and left a message saying that I was looking for a copy of the book she had illustrated for Martin Rimm, and had so far been unable to find it anywhere or to find out whether it had ever actually been distributed. I left my home number and said I'd be very grateful for a call back. We'll see. --- Ms. Speranza quite graciously returned my call. She believes that the book in question doesn't quite exist yet, being more of a work in progress. She verified that Carnegie (Press? Publishing?) is Martin Rimm. Sounds like Marty jumped the gun a bit in registering it as a Book In Print, but that's in character. ###
