EFF Victory in California DVD Discovery Dispute

EFF's defense team won a victory over DVD-CCA's refusal to provide discovery to the defense in a July 7 California hearing.  The Court ordered DVD-CCA to turn-over the facts and evidence on which it based its allegations supporting the award of an injunction against dozens of Web publishers in January.  EFF's defense team filed the motion to compel DVD-CCA after months of it refusing to cooperate in the discovery process.  Noting that DVD-CCA had not complied with the law, the Court
ordered it to turn-over its evidence by July 21.
