MAP/ACTIV-L Offers an email-server with telephone numbers, fax
numbers, and more information. Here's a the main help message
describing what it can do.

MAPServ can be used to retrieve:
   Files and directory listings of the
      misc.activism.progressive library.
   Phone and fax numbers of the US government and media.
   Fax numbers of UN country missions to the US.

Examples:
"senator il" returns info on the senators from Illinois.
"sen brad" returns info on senator Bill Bradley.
"rep mo" returns info on US represenatives from Missouri.
"rep gep" returns info on representative Richard Gephardt.
"admin" returns info on the administration.
"media ny" returns numbers for media in New York.
"media npr" returns number for NPR.
"mis brazil" returns the fax number to the Brazilian mission.
"mapidx AGRAN.*" returns the corresponding list of files from
    the m.a.p. library.
"mapget community-under-siege.judi" gets the file.

Notes:
Reasonable abbreviations are accepted.
The post-office state code is required for sen & rep requests.
The Subject: line is ignored.
Multiple requests are allowed, one per line.
