I'm putting together a FAQ file for civil liberties issues, which
would be a FAQ for alt.society.civil-liberty.  I'm also putting
together some other documents / pointers to documents, ftp archives
etc. on a gopher server.  (see comp.infosystems.gopher FAQ for more
information on using gopher).

The official legal view of U.S. Constitution is available here, with
occasional dissent from people who have bizarre ideas like that the
U.S. Constitution is interpreted with common sense by the Supreme
Court, that "Congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of
speech" means that also laws against publishing sexually explicit
material are unconstitional, or that since the alcohol prohibition was
passed by a constitutional amendment prohibition on other drugs is
unconstitutional because there's no amendment prohibiting them.
